American Idol auditions

jp and i went to a.i. auditions on tuesday, she tried out but i didn't! my coworkers were dying for me to try out....but i didn't want to make a fool of myself.....so here are some highlights of the day......we got to the delta center at 4:45 AM!!!!!that is what the first picture is, is jp's car showing 4:45, too early for me...... a lot of the pictures are hard to see what is going on but i just wanted to show how many people were there

after sitting outside for a few hours they moved us all to the stairs on the outside of the delta center and filmed us doing things for the opening of the show, we were DEAD center of all the shots so we will be on the opening of the show!!! yea!!! our 5 seconds of fame......

then they moved us inside to sit and once auditions started at 8:30 am, we sat and watched people......the BEST part of the ENTIRE thing, there was some interesting people and even more interesting outfits....jp's blog (www.rhettandjessica.blogspot.com) has some good pictures of people..... ryan seacrest came and we got a picture of him, you will have to double click to see it well, we weren't very close! he is a shorty! we were like the 4th section in and we didn't think it would take too long for jp to audition but she didn't audition until like 2:30, so we literally sat and sat and sat......and talked about people the whole time, they had ONE concession stand open and it was ridiculous it took me like 30 min to get us a pretzel and a drink, people were getting MAD, i told jp that mutiny was about to break out at the concession stand cause people were STARVING and it was taking forever, they didn't let you take any food in and we were tired and hungry!!!

anyways....the day was a total blast and totally worth the wait

scared................and alone...................

my husband is gone tonight, he has to do clinicals tonight at a sleep center studying sleep apnea and other breathing problems so im already nervous about being alone........

so there i was relaxing in the shower.....i get out......i see my dog laying on the tile.......which she NEVER does...she looks up at me and i say "whats with the guilty face?"........she turns around and THIS is what i see.............

if you aren't too scared.....zoom in.....that little brown thing in the corner...is a LEG....she was dismembering that spider.......that's not the gross part......what i want to know is.......

WHERE WAS THAT SPIDER IN OUR HOUSE??? WHERE DID SHE BRING HIM FROM?????

the thing that is gross is she was on our BED right before she came into the bathroom........i could have DIED, i was already dreading sleeping alone in our bed.....but now its really bad cause i want to know where it came from, that was a monster........tylenol pm here we come.....

so here are the remedies.......

she was sad after i vacuumed that nasty up she kept sniffing the vacuum looking for her new buddy......but don't worry he is gone for GOOD.

I wish...i was sitting on the beach, in that picture i have at the top of this page (that place is called Corn Island, they have Little Corn and Big Corn Island, how funny, i just love the name of it....not to mention the scenery!) and i wish i had Breaking Dawn in my hands RIGHT NOW

I hate...missing Dr. Phil's show at 8 on channel 14 and i hate stupid clients that try to tell me what to do to their hair....as if they went to school and know.....do you tell the doctor how to do your surgery?

I miss...being young and not having a care in the world! oh and also i miss driving my bug.....sigh...

I hear...cheesy love songs on light fm 100.3 and i love it

I smell...not much....my poor nose hairs have been burnt away from all the salon fumes....

I crave...rice a roni chicken flavor....just ask my husband....everytime he calls me when he is on his way home from work that's what im eating

I search...blogs

I wonder...when i will get over my shopping addiction......ok, probably never

I regret...not telling my cousin i loved him before he died.....but im glad that i know now that he knows

I care...about politics, i LOVE talk radio for that reason

I always...put my contacts in FIRST thing in the morning.....and then i go potty

my new toy

the other night my husband surprised me with this, i had NO clue i was getting any sort of prize, he just texted me on his way home from work and said "i have a surprise for you", he has been dying for me to get an ipod for ages and so finally he just bought one, he said he has been saving for forever, im sure he did too cause this baby was way too expensive but it sure is fun to play with! it has 32G, which i guess is a lot, i feel so fancy with my new toy!

my family got together yesterday to swim/barbeque and of course my mom had to get a pinata for the kids so here are some pics.......that last pic of my niece gracie in her star glasses, she wouldn't take those things off all night, she loves to tell people they are "fabulous", she told my dad he was fabulous after he dove into the pool, so all night long she kept calling herself fabulous in her fabulous star glasses

funny blog

krid told me about this blog the other day so i went and looked at it.......its actually making fun of cheesy bloggers (like all of us....)but its also making fun of mormon bloggers......i know i shouldn't think its funny but its HILARIOUS, especially in the "about us" section, you have to go look it really is funny, dont take it too serious! the "about us" section is TOTALLY true about a lot of cheesy "mormon" bloggers.....but of course its not true about all of us........ :)
